Hailing from Southern California is DJ Frantik. Born and raised in San Diego, DJ Frantik has been steadily makin’ tracks from SD to LA to SF over the last decade, providing musical soundscapes consisting of Hip hop, Downtempo, Neo-Soul, Funk, Reggae, Disco, Dub, and House with flavor unparalleled. DJ Frantik has shared the stage with the likes of Supernatural, Myka Nyne, Deep Rooted, Visionaries, Rahzel, Scarub, Zion I, Crown City Rockers, Pigeon John, Aloe Blacc, Abstract Rude, DJ Vadim, and Oneself just to name a few. Over the years, Frantik has been an integral contributer to nightlife culture in Southern California, putting on events with Session A at Cal Poly Pomona, Summer Sessions at R.E.H.A.B. Records in west LA, and most recently, The DownBeat in downtown San Diego. As a founding member of The DownBeat Sound System, you can find Frantik rockin’ The DownBeat’s bi-weekly event; Chief Rocka, that goes down @ Red C Lounge on 2nd & 4th Thursdays.  Just as his name would suggest, Frantik’s taste in music is exactly that; “frantik”.  When Frantik steps to the decks, be prepared to hear a diverse selection of music from all corners of the world.
